Lakeview Assembly
Men's Accountability Growth Groups

Lakeview Assembly Men's Ministries is committed to personal and spiritual maturity.  Growing deep in your relationship with the Lord is greatly enhanced by a small group of brothers. Together we can learn the ways of the Lord, practice the habits of living out spiritual maturity, lovingly help hold each other accountable, and support each other.  In the process, these small groups of men develop a bond that grows deep, as they share common vision and goals, and work together to achieve those goal.  In this case, the goal of each group member is to be transformed into Christ-likeness.

Transformational Accountability Groups (TAG Groups)

  • Assist members in building their basic beliefs, habits, and behaviors of Christ into their lives.
  • Helps each participant learn how to confidently share their faith.
  • Helps each participant prepare for fruitful ministry and service.
  • Provides the encouragement for each believer to deepen his commitment.
  • Provides the encouragement for those not directly involved in a discipleship ministry.
  • Provides support for people's needs.
  • Provides a place to know and be known.

Meeting times are one to two times per month (at minimum) with some meetings once per week.  Participation in the accountability groups is voluntary and a minimum of a six month commitment is asked of all group participants.  Group Members may sign-up together and form one group or for a more stretching experience, be assigned to a group.  Accountability groups encompass multiple facets of adventure, personal accountability, physical challenges, and spiritual growth! Strict rules of confidentiality are applicable, except in cases of danger to self, others, or extreme situations requiring counsel of an elder or Pastoral staff.
